Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely evening getaway at this hotel, surrounded by beautiful scenery and enjoying comfortable accommodations. While I appreciated the luxurious ensuite bathroom, I did face a few hiccups with the breakfast options. The dining experience was quite relaxing, but it would have been nice to have more choices available. Overall, a great spot for a retreat, but there are a few areas that could use improvement.
My stay at the boutique hotel was largely enjoyable with lovely views and excellent food. The staff was welcoming, and the ambiance was charming. However, I found the Wi-Fi connection frustratingly weak, and for what I paid, I expected a more reliable service. The vintage character of the building was delightful, but the low ceilings might not be suitable for everyone.
The Wiremill offers a charming lakeside setting that's perfect for a meal or a short stay. The food is outstanding, with some dishes being truly memorable. However, the service left something to be desired during my visit, affecting the overall experience. It’s a shame, as the natural beauty surrounding the place is enchanting.
My recent experience at The Wiremill was mixed. The 15th-century mill itself is filled with character, and the room we stayed in was delightful, albeit with some issues. The food was satisfactory, but the service and overall experience were marred by some significant shortcomings. If they improved the Wi-Fi and service efficiency, it could easily be a superior stay.
I was really looking forward to my stay, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing. The food and service left a lot to be desired, which is a shame because the setting has so much potential. While the staff did their best to accommodate us, the overall experience felt underwhelming, and I doubt I will return anytime soon.
